TONGA'UIHA RUGBY ACADEMY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Registration is considered as acceptance of the following conditions:


Staffing

The Camp will be staffed by RFU accredited coaches as well as assistant coaches. The highest safety measures will always be taken.

Disclaimer and Liability

By making this booking you acknowledge and agree that the academy running the course is not responsible for any:

  • loss or damages of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising; 
  • injuries of any nature that your child may suffer; 
  • loss of or damage to property.

    Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit the academy’s liability for death or personal injury caused by their negligence or the negligence of its employees. 

    Behaviour

    All camps are designed to be enjoyed by every participant. We expect all children to abide by the principles of tolerance and respect towards each other and the coaches. The Academy will not accept repeated swearing or bad behaviour, any form of bullying or racist, sexist or homophobic language. Our camps are inclusive and we wish for all children participating to feel safe and accepted. Repeated infringements of this conduct policy will potentially result in children being sent home and payment withheld.

 

Cancellation

Cancellations made 28 days prior to the camp start date will be afforded a full refund.

Cancellations made 7-27 days prior to the camp start date will be offered a 50% refund or the offer of a voucher to be used at an alternative, future camp (subject to price alteration), valid for one year from date of issue.

Cancellations made 6 days or less from the camp start date will not be refunded although a transfer voucher onto an alternative camp may be offered at the Academy's discretion.

Kit List

 ACTIVITIES WILL CONTINUE WHATEVER THE WEATHER!

This list is only a suggestion, should participants not have any items of clothing that are on the list (with the exception of the gum shield) please do not purchase items unless necessary. Some of the items on the list are seasonal: -

  • Rugby boots or appropriate footwear and trainers 
  • Rugby training kit, to include waterproof top and a hat 
  • Protective equipment 
  • Gum shield / mouth guard (compulsory for all children in U9s and above, at every camp)
  • Change of clothing for wet-weather conditions 
  • Drinks bottle 
  • Insect repellent and insect bite cream 
  • Sun screen 

    Photography & Filming

    Photographic agencies may be commissioned to take photographs and video during the rugby camps and sessions. By booking this course, you agree to allow photographs to be taken of your child/children which will then be placed on the official website, used on our social media accounts and for future marketing. If you have any concerns please ensure you have opted out when registering your child.

    DECLARATION

    I agree that by booking this course that all participants registered by me:-

    (a) may participate in the above course

    (b) are fit to participate in the activities to be undertaken

    If it becomes necessary for any of the participants registered by me to receive emergency dental or medical treatment and I cannot be contacted by telephone or other means to authorize this, I hereby give my general consent to any emergency dental or medical treatment and authorize a staff member from the course to sign any documents required by the hospital authorities.
